Same here @Leanne2810 . I posted about it over the weekend only to be told by the EE reps on here to 'phone customer services' which I have done and i'm no further forward. Still no phone and no indication of when I'll get it.

At least @Katie_B has tried to help.

Thank you @Leanne2810 . I might try that. A manager got involved (though who knows whether they were actually a manager - i've been told so many porkies now) and they've cancelled and put through yet another order but lo and behold - no delivery text.

My posts on this forum are now being removed too.

@Leanne2810 If you don't mind them chasing you, why bother paying your contract off?

Companies threaten you with legal action for ending your contract early, but they do not have a leg to stand on.

I ordered a phone on a special offer, I am past the cooling off period, if I don't get my promotion offer, then I will cancel the direct debit and allow them to chase me.

if more people stood up to these companies, then they would not be able to get away with blue murder.

If they take you to court for breach of contract, just explain that they breached their contract by not doing what they promised. Take loads of screen grabs, especially on the subject you are concerned about.

You can use this in a court of law, if they threaten you with bailiffs, as long as your windows or doors are not open, then the bailiff has no right for forced entry simply because it is a civil and not a criminal matter.

Sadly far too many complaints on this forum, I can accept one or two, but there are multiple complaints on the same issues, such as not getting orders, not getting promotion etc etc.

If I do not get my promotional offer come Jan, then the direct debit will be cancelled. The phone will be held until I am refunded the money that I have spent so far. If they want to go to court I have enough evidence now to work in my favour.

Make a stand for yourself, and other customers, the more people that stand up to these companies, then the less they will mess with consumers.

Regards

Mark

Terribly bad advice unless you want your credit rating ruined. Follow the official complaints procedure, take it to deadlock etc, or they‘ll have enough evidence for it to work in their favour.

@ewanrw I never said that it was a perfect solution. However, you can have your credit rating adjusted if you can prove that something is not your fault.

Failure to provide a service that you are paying for is enough grounds to seek legal action.

I am in a new contract, so I am past my 14 days cooling off period, however the reason why I got the phone in the first place, was for the special offer. I have no hesitation of cancelling my contract and the direct debit, I will give a reasonable time frame to resolve the issue, but I am not going to say, well ok I am going to keep paying you money when you can lie and cheat people into contracts with special offers.

I could promise you the World, if you just pay me £50 every month and never deliver, once your cooling off period is over.

All what I have seen so far on this forum are a lot of broken promises, and unhappy customers.

Regards

Mark
