Iv been checking online and it's said the same since I placed my order on Thursday today I find out that there's no stock and they are awaiting stock from apple,, its ridiculous why can't they just be straight up and honest with customers

yeh totally agree with you but u never no u might still get dpd text that happened to me i ordered on thursday never heard anything till saturday when dpd said it was on way fingers crossed u get this

I very much doubt it will arrive any time soon its a complete joke,, if they had just said from the beginning it would have been find just don't get why the lies just be straight up and honest

Overselling is common not just with EE but other retailers. If you flip the point you make and EE orders and pays for 5000 handsets they might not sell them, thus making a loss. This way they order and pay Apple for what they need. 

 

Where this fails (as it has done) is unpredictable world event which has caused huge problems with supply chain, manufacturing and exporting around the world. This is the same problem for PS5, Xbox, mobiles etc. 

 

Communication could be better I don't disagree with that point.

That's my point if they are struggling then far enough but stop the promises to customers when clearly they can't fulfil them best to just try be honest with customers
