After this mornings episode consisting of many loyal EE customers having a £10 upfront fee taken out of their bank accounts, only for the site to crash after 15 minutes of going live & stock reducing to zero from 'thousands'..
I'd like to ask what EE are planning on for the customers (myself included) who have been given more than the 'money will be back in your account in 2-5 days' spiel??

Hi @DeadlyDazza
Not sure about the question you're asking. You were unsuccessful in obtaining a PS5 and EE have said they will return your deposit, but you also want something else? Why? What do you want?
Thanks

Well, seeing as the upfront payment was successfully taken by EE, an order for a PS5 would be nice!

It’s a first come first serve basis.. unfortunately you wasn’t quick enough EE Lke many other stores only have a certain number of allocation.. that number doesn’t amount to the people who are trying to get one! This was my third time trying. Luckily I managed to get one but the other 2 times was unsuccessful. You’ll just have to wait untill the next drop like millions more.
so pick your toys up and put back in your pram.

They took the tenner out my account and i had no confirmation at all. I called the sales team this morning and they said it was stuck in the system and gave me the order number pretty swiftly also saying that they are working on the allocations for orders and it will be with me in 14 days. Hopefully this is the case, but might be worth giving them a call.

Hi @Davie0702
I know this sounds silly but I've got a confirmation email from them and a order number about successfully getting Ps5 and they have taken the £10 out of my account but apart from that I've heard nothing from them and I've just got this horrible feeling that I won't get it. Do you think it would be best to contact ee about this?
Cheers Liam

Hi @liamono85,
Here's the best number to call instead of 150
08000790531
If you've had confirmation you should be ok, it's just a waiting game for them to organise the distrubution and such, but still give them a call to make sure.
Hope this helps

It might be worth downloading the DPD app and see if they have the parcel. It seems that their system updates quicker than EE.
