Yes, this is annoying. I wasn’t expecting to get on launch day, but if they told me 100% I would, and now they’re not even sure if it’s delayed until tomorrow or mid-October. 😂

Mines been the exact same as yours and just bummed that there’s no update or any communication whatsoever going on and cs keep repeating the same things and my trackings bugged like yours too.

Oh yes, and they always offer a new Apple Watch or something else to add to my account at the end of the chat. I just close it straight away, haha. No iPhone - No sales for them!😂

Well I'm thinking of it in the most holistic way possible, moving to a new provider after so long, high expectations because to me I was quite loyal for a long time. If EE resorts to lying or simply even miscommunicating the most basic of services, getting a device to you when agreed, what does that say about EE overall? It's not looking good is it.
Worth mentioning that the few interactions I had prior to today were actually good, I actually went out of my way to provide good feedback for the people I spoke to. For whatever reason I wasn't even sent a form/text for my interaction today. Sods law.

To be honest, I think all providers are the same. A couple of years ago, I helped my friend sort out his Vodafone contract, and it took me two hours! However, I’m currently with EE because of their good signal coverage and 5G. The prices aren’t bad either, especially if you can get some discounts.

Well after three conversations about my 17PM blue 256gb I think I may have just received an honest answer - mid October due to supply issues! I’ve been told “it should be today so just hang on”, “it might be tomorrow so just hang on” and “if you’ve heard nothing it’s going to be between 21 to 28 days here’s a token credit for your trouble”
last one feels most credible 😞

Was this a pre order? If so this isn’t cool, they should have known the interest in an iPhone.

I can understand a delay, certainly not desirable - I am an adult and this isn't Christmas but it'd be remiss for me to not at least check what's going on with delivery of a high value item if there seems to be something wrong. If I call for a status update, I expect to be treated with an honest response.
I was certainly given a response, perhaps one that seemed too good to be true in an unusually small timeframe considering my order number was supposedly not going to work according to the advisor.
On that basis, my presumption is he just didn't care what he said or any repercussions, and as such, told me anything to get rid of me.
I won't know that factually until Sunday now, but I will find out soon enough, and as such, not for the fact that there's any kind of delay, but due to poor communication/poor customer service/potentially even lying out of convenience, it would mean to say that EE is not to be trusted.
Will find out soon.

Yup, pre-ordered on 12/09 with the agent confirming delivery on launch. I mean delays happen but the least they could do is know what’s going on and maybe communicate?
