esim and mobile data connection

i have just got a new iphone 17 pro on a monthly plan. i had transferred all that data etc from my old iphone and everything seemed greta but now i cant connect to a mobile signal and i cant access a QR code for the esim.

 

any help would be great

@kevliam79  Was your old phone using an eSIM or a physical sim ?   Does your old device still show a network connection?
