Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.65000 views thank you for your support and love.

i opened a complaint ordered the orange iphone 17 pro max on friday the 12th was told in store by ee that i would get it for 19th still had nothing and was clearly lied to when i was rang regarding the upgrade i said i would rather do it online friday 19th and they said well if you come in store and do it then your guaranteed to get it on launch day .... then surprise surprise launch day and no phone open a complaint with them they gave me 30 pound off my bill and one month of tnt sports for free i mean it helps a lilttle but does not help i still have not got my phone her las message to me was that phones have arrived at the depo which was on the 20th and they will be sorted and going out this week and i should get it then

I’m not sure it even matters if you placed your order on the 12th or not. 

I ordered mine on the afternoon of the 12th, got my order confirmation immediately and was original told it would arrive on the 20th but now I’ve been told 28 days or more (as apparently Apple have told them they’ll delivery the next batch of PMs in 28 days). My tracking is still just in order confirmed.

My sis ordered her blue pro like on the 16th and got hers on launch day 🫤 

Okay everyone so here is the update from my previous response. Cancelled my order with EE today at around 10.20am after they told me I’d have to wait more than 28 days for 17 PM 512gb Orange. I said I’d rather wait for Apple as they will obviously replenish their own stock before retailer. Lo and behold, I just secured the 17 PM 512gb Blue instead via the Apple Store online. I’m picking it up today between 1.30-145pm. My wife already has the blue and after seeing her’s I did think to myself “hmm maybe the orange might be a little too loud for me”. This is your sign to keep checking apple store online! They also had 1tb and 2tb available.  (I hope the screenshot below shows)

Hi, I got it from Apple. Sorry I’ve just updated my response to add that I got it from Apple. I’m very happy because I had booked to sell my current 15PM to Mazuma mobile and use the money towards my holiday next week, and EE messed it all up…but now Apple has come to save the day lol

I, too, have cancelled my AirPods Pro 3 order with EE and am off to collect from Apple now. Far more straightforward and reliable.

The only reason I had ordered them from EE was that the expectation had been set of launch day delivery, which they have failed to meet.

Think we’ve all gotten on the workers at EE nerves now the guide I spoke to over messaging was rude and dismissive 🤣🤣

This has been the messiest year for EE with their Apple releases. I asked about my AirPods this morning & they have no idea when I’ll get them. Not even saying expected 14 days or 28 days

Just to copy what I said on another thread:

Just had the most transparent of advisers today.

So I ordered at approx 8pm on 12th.

Ive been advised dispatches latest are usually 28 days.

I’ve been told my latest expected delivery date is the 10th October which would fall into this 28 days period, however the adviser was completely transparent and said it could be longer. They’re expecting I should get an update from DPD this week which would tally up with the other advisers who said dispatch/delivered within 14days (so by this Friday). They did say they didn’t want to guarantee I would receive it by the 10th but this is just a latest they would expect me to receive it by, but the delays could make it longer.

 

I mean it’s not the greatest of updates but it’s a bit more transparent and honest out of all 5 advisers I’ve now spoke to. Which tbh is all I’ve asked from EE in the first place is a bit of honesty and some transparency about the situation instead of continuous guarantees that’s aren’t being fulfilled.

They said anyone who ordered today aren’t expected to receive it till the end of October but with all the delays that could even be longer (the same with mine also on a delay)

Update.

So, I used the chat service in the app again to query my order as my original confirmation said to expect delivery on launch date.

The advisor said that due to a technical error the order was "dismissed" - i received no notification of this (and the 4 previous chats/calls did not supply this info) so if I hadn't been persistent I'd never have known. (Original order placed at 1:14pm on the 12th)


The advisor was great, new order placed with "Priority" status (whatever that means) - he seems confident I should receive my handset this week. He also knocked a very hefty amount of the monthly payments and restructed my EE home broadband to save me about 50% a month there too.

I can now track the order status online (which I couldn't before) so fingers crossed.
