I ordered mine on the 19th at around 8pm

There's another thread that has a spreadsheet where you input some details and it gives a rough time frame of when it might arrive. 

It's given an estimated dispatch of the 10/10/25

Just spoke again, and they raised a complaint. Don't know what I got from that. But anyway, it looks like I need to wait till the end of October.

So did my wife but what was delivered is the version with the sim tray. I am quite knowledgeable with tech news. Long story short, all UK customers will receive the physical sim version that is also enabled for eSIM. When setting up, you'll have the option to select eSIM instead of inserting your physical sim. The downside is we will have up to 37 hours video playback as opposed to the up to 39 hours video playback the eSIM only version will have.

You will get notification up to the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window from DPD, you will also get a PIN number that you have to show to the driver before they will give you your device.

I have cancelled my order for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512gb (Orange). My wife ordered on 12th September (17 PM 256gb (blue), received her DPD text on 18th September, and device was delivered on 19th September. I made my order in 13th September at 2.57am, noticed my email confirmation said usually dispatched within 14 days. I called EE on 18th September to discuss and they told me it could be delivered the following week. I checked the status online and saw there was no delivery date mentioned.  However, I have just called EE and they told me my phone will be delivered after 28 days or longer. I told asked them to cancel the order. I’ll stick with my 15 Pro Max and keep checking Apple Store online instead as they will definitely get their stock before anyone else. This experience has been horrible, especially because I could clearly see on the day I ordered they were still promising delivery for 19th September. They time jumped quicker than Loki!

There are people waiting still that ordered on the 1st pre order day (12th Sep)- There's a national shortage of Stock for the Pro Max. I just like many people are having to wait 28 days even though we pre ordered well before the release date. It's just unfortunate.

According to them I haven’t called on the 19th and they haven’t told me that my phone was booked in to be delivered on that day 🤣🤣🤣

If you look on the official apple forums. You cannot order the esim only version in the UK. There is no stock of the Esim only being sent to the uk its for the USA/UAE only.
