So, it seems a lot of us are in the same boat.

Preordered on Friday 12th and got my confirmation email at 1:14pm with it specifically saying "Expect delivery to you on launch date"

Since then, nothing. No updates, no texts and no phone. Entering the order number into tracking doesn't work etc.

Spoke to 150 and was told that my order placed online went into a "queue" and was processed on Monday evening, meaning I'll need to wait 21-28 days for delivery.

Absolute farce. Considering moving to another network as crap like this has happened before.

According to a chat guide they’re still fulfilling orders placed on the 12th. Sadly for us people that ordered between 14th-16th looks like October time. 

obviously they’re picking random orders to be sent out as a few people on here received their orders despite ordering after 12th someone ordered on the 16th same as me and still received it. 

generally wouldn’t mind if they gave me one solid reliable timeframe/date and not different answers each tine

You cannot buy the eSIM only version in the uk, You would have to import it.

I’m fully with you on this. I just want date of delivery with some certainty.

i ordered a PM 256GB Deep Blue on 12/09 just after 8pm. I know someone who ordered the same phone but cosmic orange but placed their order an hour earlier than me got their phone yesterday. If they’re moving sequentially then happy days assuming they don’t run out of stock but they still won’t say anything about when it’ll be delivered with any certainty. 

honestly I expected a delay. iPhone launches don’t go smoothly, never have and never will. I just wish they’d give more info.

Lucky you! I’ve heard people requesting and even being given the choice between the two. Never heard of an eSIM only variant actually being sent out. I know one person complained when they asked for eSIM variant and got a physical sim one instead and was told that there are no eSIM variants on sale but I guess this proves that wrong. I hope I’m that lucky!

Even if I had been told 29th October I wouldn’t mind waiting. 

I’ve been told that I’d be receiving my phone later this week, then I’ve been told 14 day wait then I’ve been told 28 days since the past 3-4 days surely it would’ve been around 23-24 days now. When I’ve called up on Friday I’ve been told that I was Booked for a delivery on Friday but it wasn’t looking like it then he told me to contact DPD as they had my order. Contacted them, not even in the system. Didn’t have that much trouble when I upgraded to the 15 pro max 2 years ago, called up on the launch day I believe received it just a few days after.
