HI @Leahjade121
If your iPhone 16 Plus keeps turning off randomly, it is usually caused by a temporary software glitch, a corrupted iOS update, or a background crash triggered by an app.
Occasionally it can be a hardware fault.
Steps to try-
1- Force restart your phone. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side (Power) button until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears.
2- Check you're on the latest iOS update and that all your apps are also up to date.
3- Reset all settings: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings to clear out corrupted configuration data without losing your personal files.
4- Backup and factory reset your phone. But test your phone before reinstalling the backup.
Hope this helps.
