Yeah i figured, still went ahead and asked me for my broadband though 🤣🤣 they had 17 pro in stock but i would much rather wait.

Hi,
Currently waiting for a delivery time for the new Apple iPhone 17 pro max, it hasn’t moved and pre orders should be completed first.
No email has been received yet, and it’s already nearly 12. It appears there’s issues, let’s hope that they end up delivered at least by Monday.

I can see a new message now on my EE account thru the app when I click on manage.
Says something about being unable to upgrade right now due to still paying off my phone. I lost the upgrade button a couple days after I placed my order on the 12th, but I have just noticed this message today.
Still nothing else in any other regard.

Just wanted to update you all—especially anyone in a similar situation.
I ordered the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB in Silver over the phone on September 12th at 3:30 PM. I was told I'd receive it on launch day, but that didn’t happen. I contacted customer service (CS) multiple times throughout the week—both on the phone and via chat. I got various answers: “28 days,” “14 days,” “Apple provided less stock,” etc. My order number (starting with **********) never tracked, so I eventually gave up and assumed I’d receive it sometime in October. Even today, I reached out again and was told the same thing. Then out of the blue, I got a DPD text saying they have my EE order with a PIN for delivery tomorrow. So just sharing my experience: CS can give inaccurate or outdated info. I was told today my phone hadn’t even been dispatched—but clearly, it was. It's honestly better to just wait for the DPD text rather than waste time chasing CS. Also, every time I called, they kept trying to sell me their broadband, which was annoying—but I get they’re just doing their job. Hope this helps someone who's been in the dark like I was.

I work with DPD daily. The fee paid is for next day delivery but they can only do this from the point the item is despatched. So the warehouse hasn’t picked and packed it in time such as for reasons like being out of stock DPD can’t do their bit.

I have the upgrade button as I added a new line but it won't let me add any new items to my account unless they are upgrades
