In the end, I've given up on EE and ordered via O2 instead.  2Tb model, no stupidity absurd upfront cost (EE wanted £580!) and went through without a hitch.

Good to see you again too man. These threads become quite the addiction between pre order and delivery so thanks for setting it up again. I was sorry to read about the trauma that ordering appeared to be. Just as much of a lottery as ever with who answers your call and I’m amazed that the online platform appears to get so overloaded so quickly every time.

i think the last time the annual colour variation on the pro phones looked as appealing as the orange was when they did the green in the 11 pro, even that was very tame in comparison to this orange. I can’t wait to see it in person.

I really don't like the new colours in the PRO MAX this year. I wanted to get the orange one because it's NEW, but I feel at some point i'll get enough of how bright and in your face it is.. And i've always had Pro Max up to 16.  

The Air just looks sleek and classy, despite the drawbacks. It does feel a bit more innovative as well trying to cramp up all that hardware in the plateau. 

Experience with EE yesterday was actually pretty smooth, partly because I chose the Air maybe (?). 

Delivery Date is - "awaiting confirmation" but as the demand is not as high, I'm expecting on launch day.

Hi, I preordered the new iPhone and when I paid it said EE will contact me within 48 hours for details but I have received a conformation email. Does this mean I’ve done the pre order right? I can’t track it in my orders so unsure really ? TIA

Hi, at least I’m not the only one. I’ve had the money taken. Possibility that we won’t be able to track it until it is released on 19th. I thought I had made a mistake somewhere. Least ive got the email confirmation from EE. Suppose its a waiting game now
