Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.65000 views thank you for your support and love.

This year was painful. Managed to order my watch ultra at 8am this morning, went through perfectly fine, the agent said he’d keep my number as I was his first do he’d call dead on 1pm. I didn’t believe him and glad I didn’t. Called at 12:58, was waiting for 30/35 mins to get through to someone, then spent a further 20 going through everything, don’t know why it can’t just be the same as I have every year, then the terms and conditions weren’t pulling through for anyone apparently, told me it could take 2 hours to be resolved, then he called me back 10mins later and then it managed to get put through, all took an hour and a half in total. I don’t understand why they can’t sort their servers out to deal with the traffic they get every year. Would have thought EE had learnt their lesson after all these years.

Hi what iphone model, storage and colour? I pre-ordered the 17 Pro Max cosmic orange 256GB. Order confirmed 1:35pm via email. I checked Apple website for the same model around 7pm and it stated if i pre-ordered today delivery will be around 6th - 13th October. 

I would suggest checking Apple website for the model you want (if different from the one ive mentioned). It wont be exact parallels to EE but it will give you an indication of general interest based on model, storage and colour.

i normally prefer getting them in black or whatever form of space grey is out each time, so this is a big departure. I can’t wait to see it in person.

Placed my order over the phone this afternoon (needed the £100 waiving which just doesn’t happen online)

Called at 13:01, was waiting 45m until I got through. Agent was great, ordered the 17 Pro Max, Deep Blue, 256GB

It was interesting as the agent was pretty much explaining everything he was doing in the background (literally in the sense that he was talking himself through it). It sounds like they’ve possibly changed their system - he did my trade in form and part of my order and then said “order timestamp is 13:53 - he then said that the system they use to send the offer / documentation for approval or signature, think it’s Lightico, was down so he sent me an email with his details and promised to call me back when it was back up but reassured me my order place was secured as they timestamp the orders. 

Admittedly I wasn’t hugely confident, but in fairness, he called me back at 14:40, sent me the link, all signed and order confirmation received at 14:42 (which I don’t think was any later than last year for me as I was on hold for well over an hour last year).

Was told I was good for launch day delivery, which I know generally means nothing until launch day actually comes around, but in fairness with every EE preorder I’ve done, that has actually happened.

Next week will be interesting as ever - good luck everyone!

Ordered same model iPhone Pro max Cosmic Orange 256gb email confirmed at 1.18 and it'll be delivered on release day 19th that's the first wave batch how many they had of this I wouldn't know but if it's showing out of stock when phoning in then it's back order.

I went for Cosmic Orange. As you stated in another comment, I too usually go for Black or whatever the yearly equivalent is but this year it had to be Orange. I don't mind doing something different for a year as it is very bold!

I called at 12:52 assuming there'd be a long hold queue but got through by 12:55. Stupidly when the guide on the phone said I was too early and offered a call back, I accepted and hung up. I should've killed time / asked to go on hold.

Instead I didn't manage to get through till almost 2pm and then the document issue killed the purchase and I had to try again at 3pm. I'm apparently still getting it on launch day but idk if I believe that.

If I had a £1 every time a CSO said 'it'll be there on launch day' I'd have a new paid for iPhone on delivery day. CSOs don't know when items will be delivered, they're just guessing and/or giving you best case scenario.

EE website says they're still in stock and available on launch day so you could be lucky.
