Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Thank you @walkerx  for this, wish customers would reaslise that this is down to Apple and not EE not getting enough of them.

All users have to do is go direct to Apple's website and go through order process. After you've picked model, storage size and colour it gives you an estimated date at top of screen.

I orxered on 14th as couldn't do on 13th and it gave delivery of 15th October. The watch is 10th December (probably cos of model, size and strap ordered) 

I'm happy to wait as finally  switching from Android (been user since original G1 (HTC Dream) release.) and just sorting apps and accounts ready for switching.

Update on my orders one on 16th NT PM 1TB and one on 18th NT PM 256GB

he advised me that they will be a 1-2 week wait on the phones being in stock, as DPD are getting the phone straight from the EE warehouse, I’m not desperate so I’ll wait and see what happens, I was going to change to the pro versions since he said there in stock and no issues with them, but because I’ve currently got two active orders I couldn’t change the orders unless I phoned up and cancelled them and then re ordered the pro version, but couldn’t be bothered being on hold for hours on end, so just going to wait the 1-2 weeks and see what happens, will keep everyone updated and reply once I get email saying they have been dispatched.

So my tracking now shows "Your order is on track"

Whatever that means

I am still waiting to get the DPD text

Ordered 14 th of September 16 Pro 256 BT

Got email yesterday saying the order is dispatched and with DPD.

I chose to pick up in store.

What should I do now? Go to store tomorrow?

Nope, so don't think it's anything to get excited about haha but it's an update 

I would just ring up your local store in the morning to see if your phone is there

It's nothing but window dressing to make it look like something is happening when nothing is really happening.

If you are still waiting in seven days expect another useless message like that.  I think after about four weeks last year the tone changed on the weekly updates to something along the lines of be quiet and wait

To be honest I suspected that he the case, because if it was on track then I would have it
