Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

What plan are you on now? The anytime upgrade doesn't kick in until day 15, so after the 15th day of your contract you should see the anytime upgrade become available.

I just rang up to find out about a 28 day wait, no notification or anything via email when I was told to expect it on launch day. Awful service really.

Got the passive aggressive ee text and now the whole tracking section is down! I wish I could talk to a competent person for once

‘Expect’ isn’t guaranteed… lol I’m all excited for my phone and it’s a shame I might not get it on launch day. But no one at EE is incompetent. I’ve worked on iPhone launch days in the past in phone stores. And most the time staff are as misinformed as anyone else. Delivery dates are always, always up in the air no matter when you order. So many things go into play.
just hold up till you get your message.

Won't the contract details on the app only update after delivery?, you've got to physically have the handset for the start date aint it?, maybe I'm wrong?

Mines is already applied to my account and been updated to my new plan and don’t receive the phone until tomorrow.

It's more annoying at the fact the lady on the phone (who was helpful btw) said they found about delivery issues yesterday. Okay it happens but why haven't I received an email or text to say that? Hopefully it arrives within the 28 days now.

Ordered on launch day, advisor made a big deal of saying how many orders didn’t go through that day so I would ‘definitely’ get my Blue Titanium 256Gb Pro Max on Friday 22nd. Got my 003 order number immediately after the call…
Still nothing from DPD, tracking number only started showing info today - order hasn’t moved to the ‘item will be dispatched in 24 hours’ section.
I don’t think I would feel annoyed if the advisor - unprompted - didn’t spend 10 full minutes explaining that my order was SO early in the queue that the idea of me not getting it on launch day was straight up absurd.
Now we wait to see if it comes in a few days, weeks or months! Ridiculous that EE are not supplying more granular info to customers, clearly they will have data that would give some form of estimate and this is a refusal to act.
