Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

4 weeks tomorrow since I pre ordered the 15 pro max NT 256gb and received a text from EE yesterday saying my contract is about to run out and will be 15 pound a month more expensive if I don't upgrade 🤣 love that EE!

Whereabouts does it say that?

I am really disappointed in the fact that I was told I would get my phone a week after the release date and up until now I have not got it. I was told I would be paying an upfront cost but what upfront cost when they haven’t lived up to the end of their bargain. I think this should be waivered and should be eligible for a compensation as the network has not met their end of the bargain

I’ll attach the link on here

Don't think I've ever seen that page before.
I wouldn't rely on that date too much. I used to work in an EE store and iPhones were almost never available for outright purchase for several weeks after launch. They prioritise stock for selling contracts as they make more from a monthly payment than someone buying the phone outright.

Yeah, very true.
I’ve got a friend who works for EE and they said there’s delivery coming everyday to their store so hopefully they’re just saying the wait is more than 28 days to save disappointment if customers are expecting it after 3 days of ordering.
Really don’t think it’s EE’s fault specifically. They don’t create the phones, they just sell them. If they’ve ran out that’s a situation with Apple🤷🏼
Still want my phone asap tho🤣
