Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I wouldn't recommend you cancel your order and go to a store to try and get one...

as stated its the ‘communication’ off ee  if there was something to say your goin to be waiting a little while longer .. then that would be fine i can wait i have a working phone so not in any rush I get there is people before me and can totally understand others frustration. 

Hopefully I may have something to look forward too after my holiday anyways 🤣

I was in EE yesterday asking if they had any phones in store and all I got was the 28 days thing so yeah, they’re lying

I'd be tempted keep CS on the phone and call the store on speaker to double check (maybe I'm too petty though). It would backfire real fast if someone in a store told you they were in stock when they aren't.

Thanks for the information, mad how 02 forums are using EE as an example. Agree with the inconsistent messaging from EE, but I'll sit and wait for my device to arrive, whenever that is.
I suppose the lesson for me to learn is not to get a new iPhone so close after launch day next time!

100% they said the cant check stock but they know they have it I was like no way

Anyone that was spoken to EE, do you know the situation for anytime upgrade next year?  Have they said they will honour the upgrade date from the 15th or from delivery?

Wondering if I need to make a formal complaint to ensure they stick to it next year.

Sharing the progress.

30 Sept 18:15 - Order thru phone PM 256 BLUE
30 Sept 18:38 - received an email "ORDER CONFIRMATION" tracking no.:0033447 (when I check the tracking no date just "Awaiting confirmation")
08 Oct 11:00 - received an email "ORDER UPDATE, Your order is on track....."  (when I check the tracking again no date still "Awaiting confirmation")
14 Oct 11:15 - After reading this thread and checking the site for the despatch days for PM 512 BLUE (it was 7days). I decide to take the risk in changing my order to PM 512 BLUE.
14 Oct 11:27 - received a new "ORDER CONFIRMATION" email with tracking no.:0033746
16 Oct 16:04 - received a txt from DPD (when I check the tracking "Despatched expected in 24hrs")
17 Oct 11:30 - I received the phone

On EE website now, the PM 512 Blue is down to 3days expected despatch.

Finally I have my DPD tra king number, my 256gb WT 15pM arrives tomorrow....... so excited, coming over from lifetime on Samsung.
