Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.
I have just come off the phone with cs. They just informed me. it is gonna be the standard reply within 28 days. She also told me they have 2 delivery days Monday and Wednesday. no idea if this is correct. She also did apologize, they are basically waiting for Apple to allocate phones to them.
For the 6s I stood outside Vodafone, on Hull High Street in the dark at 5 am and was first in the queue! You should see the look on someone else’s face when they arrive two minutes later to realise they weren’t the first 😆😆
I can confirm the overheating my mate who got his iPhone 15 PM NT 512 had his at a wedding on Saturday, he was only taking a couple pics and handed the phone to me saying feel this, it was like I’d been playing Warzone Mobile for 3 hours hot!!!!
The rigid aluminium plating, which gives it its strength on the 14 is on the back glass, but on the 15 is on the body of the phone so that might explain it.
47 Degrees Celsius is getting reported at the moment for the 15 Pro and Pro Max, while gaming, scrolling and fast charging - hopefully they get it fixed by the time we all get our devices! There was someone on Youtube JerryRigEverything or something like that who video'd the Pro Max stress testing he's done and he said it was the weakest out of the Pro Max phones he's done.
