Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Well they were no use on the phone, can’t give me any tracking information at all, they just keep saying that the XKO will work but only once it’s dispatched from them, and then they’re saying that I won’t receive any kind of tracking until it’s dispatched, and that a “03” number doesn’t exist until it’s sent out. Even though it seems like plenty of people have been sent this even orders that have been put through after me.
I get it’s not exactly the people on the phones fault but I have yet to get through to someone who actually seems to want to help.
complaint filed either way with EE so we’ll see what happens now I suppose

So weird, I have the 033 number but have nothing else?! And received this instantly as soon as I ordered mine over the phone. Seems like they everyone something different.

It seems like the issue is with the Pro Max models rather than the Pro models, even at Apple - it says I can get a Pro from my local store but not a Pro Max for up to 8 weeks

How long did Apple say they were gonna take to deliver? Do they have stock? I’m thinking to cancel my EE order and just go straight to Apple if it’s gonna take 28 days or more.

Exactly why I have an issue, now if they had one thing to tell everyone or everyone received the same information then I'd have no issue - like I keep telling them I don't mind when it is dispatched - I just want to actually be able to track my own order. The only number I got was from the Online chat and that was an 02 number which says there is no pay monthly phone even though they can see I have ordered a 15 PM as Pay Monthly.

Yeah I didn’t get anything. Then got an 02 number on the chat last week. Then just yesterday got a text with a 0033 number. I just hope it is the same order and there isn’t 2 now.

I tried to see if I can get an update on my order and this is what I got in reply after waiting ages on the phone to EE,
“ iPhone 15 pro max is very high on demand and deliveries can be delay and it may take upto 1-2 week for the delivery, and we are trying our level best to deliver you as soon as possible
I see its open order and its getting delay due to high on demand and gets delivered based on first come first serve so you need to wait for the DPD confirmation email for the delivery, you will receive it anytime soon “
guess it’s just a waiting game

I have the same, the 03 confirmation email came through as soon as I ordered on the phone. I can access the tracking with my order number and email, but it’s been at the “Delivery: Awaiting confirmation” stage ever since! At the bottom it says “Pre-order confirmed” and I think that’s supposed to change when they eventually dispatch it

Yeah Apple has really dropped the ball this year. Seems the pro max is the only model effected I can pick up a 15 15 plus or pro at my local Apple Store but the max is back ordered until end of oct now. Family back home said it’s back ordered until mid November
