iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Yep!

Im cancelling the phone with EE now. I hate the bs. Had they said October 28th or whatever Apple is saying then I would have been ok tbh. But it’s pre order chaos then a silly email to call and wasting time on hold do them have to go through order again. I’m then pushed onto a flex plan over the 3 years and the handset also costs more overall than at Apple or other networks. I can trade the old phone in with Apple too.

Annoying as the same thing happened last year and I end up cancelling and going to Apple. Saw one available in store but tbh I’ll wait and have it delivered on a known timescale. 

EE is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth and you can only show your disappointment by giving up on them and walking away.

Clarity finally after speaking to an adviser. Anyone who has not received a Pro Max is looking at a “28 days or more” delay, with likely delivery late October to early November. Anyone who has a Pro waiting to be delivered this will likely be within 14 days. Blamed Apple not sending enough stock again same as last year. I also called my local EE store to check stock and they have told me they will not have any Pro Max in stock until November. At least now we know.

When I ordered. I got an XO. Then when they phoned me back later to sort it out (on 15th) it was an 02 number which I couldn’t track. 

Strangely I have just got a text now and I now have a 03 number which I can track. Don’t know what’s going on. 

Updated tracking number which I am able to track, to be honest I’m happy with having a tracking number I can actually use, instead of the previous one which didn’t work.

Perhaps you got allocated the one that was cancelling 20 minutes before your post 😂 or they have stock rolling in

i have XKO from Friday, 02 number I got today. Apparently I won’t get anything else until it’s with DPD

Tbh bud each person is saying different. Although if mine is longer than the 14 days I had on my confirmation I will be seeking big compo on this. I do believe though they are covering there backs.

So i thought id cancelled my order but i was wrong , just got this email 10mins ago  :

 

“Your order is confirmed but we're awaiting your expected delivery date. This is while we wait for delivery confirmation from the manufacturer.

We'll be in touch soon with an update on your Order

When we deliver your order to you, we'll need to confirm your identity. Please show either your passport, or your driving licence photo Id”

 

im so bloody confused lol

How do I cancel my upgrade? I am sick of EE already - no communication, hours on hold to speak with anyone. They send a return pack for my old phone and say if they don't receive it by 02 October, I will be charged  the £ 400.00 upgrade fee - despite the fat that EE have NOT managed to get my new phone to me - shoddy to say the least!!
