iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I am exactly the same. I don’t see why I have to pay same price now my phone is essentially mine. They said as I have contract pending they can’t change this one. 🤷 😆

So I ordered two NT 256GB  & 1TB , 256GB has arrived but the other one hasn’t. I just called my local store and they have three in stock. They would hold it for me but because I have an order for a phone already I have to cancel the order and wait until the upgrade pops back up on my account. I could start a new line but my FF would need to be added back on.

 He was willing to shift the rules and gave me until Tuesday to get it to pop on my account. I am sure I won’t get the one ive ordered online by then. But of course EE won’t answer phone been on hold for ages ..typical even when you can work around it there’s always something.

 

Edit: when I spoke to CS he did say that if your tracking shows awaiting confirmation that movement shouldn’t be expected until next week.

Spoke with customer support this morning as soon as they opened. It sounds like all the original stock has gone, unsurprisingly the support team have very little info. They did say the "up to 28 days" line, but also said it could be longer. 

I was also waiting for an Apple Watch Ultra 2, at least that sounds like it would be shipped by Monday (though I did have to change my order to a different watch band).

I’m still waiting for the pro max 256 gb in blue. Ordered on the 15th!

I have the watch ultra 2 delivered yesterday:) 

 

 

With anytime upgrade… you take out a new contract and send back the old phone. Ok! But don’t get any credit returned for paying of the previous handset? I only have a few months left on my contract so a lot of the handset is paid off. Obviously the idea should be to change and upgrade each year especially as you pay so much on the handset.

I got told mine would be here yesterday for the pro max in black. My wife got the black 15 plus and that came yesterday. Hopefully it comes today or Monday but the tracking isn’t very good like. Doesn’t say much on mine apart from expected in 24hrs

You should have waited bud. If you were in the past 45 days you could have kept the phone.

I actually caved and tried chat last night was in a wait for an advisor from 6:45 until they closed at 11 and heard back this morning at 8am - not any reassurance given and now regretting not chasing for a trackable number before orders went out - the answer now seems to be that as they have no stock you can’t track anything until DPD have it 

I’m not in a rush for the phone & I’m confident I can sort out by next year any impact in my anytime upgrade but I would like (as I have done in the past) to be able to see the situation change as far as estimated delivery date as stock rolls in, they just won’t give me any sort of tracking number that works (like people here have, 03 numbers even though it’s showing nothing currently) 

if I was to allow myself to be concerned it would be that I have only the original online order that needed more information, the link to the portal where I completed documents on the screen sharing session the following morning, the text to say “all is good” & my returns pack, I have no means to look at my order to see any details without calling or live chat and getting them to confirm it exists

, I have mine on order - still and last week I received the return pack for my old phone - if EE do not receive my old phone by 02 October, they will add £ 400.00 to my next bill. So EE - am I meant to be without a phone while you sort you s..t out?? Or do I just swallow the £ 400.00 because you can't sort your s..t out??

This is another example where EE is profiting from this mess of the preordering and the inevitable delays! They have no incentive to sort it out as it will actually negatively impact their profit.

Not the same scenario but in the past when I haven’t had the pack turn up they have been ok when I’ve called to change that date, I’ve never been ok with them charging me to refund later because - they don’t usually/often refund… they credit your bill
