Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Is it normal that EE only send the orders number now when the phone is with dpd?

Just checked my confirmation email that I asked CS to send to me again as I didn’t receive first time round. Order number read 33 million 846….and three more numbers after that! Is that right or have I just took a big leap thinking they have almost 34 million of these to send out?

The 0033 is the order number, I don’t think it has an indication on how many iPhones they have to send out, as it can be orders on anything. But know it’s over 1 million let’s be frank, it’s the most popular phone brand in the world. Our phones probably haven’t even been made yet. 😕

“Dispatch time is more than 28 days and it gets delivered in a week after dispatch. As you had placed it on 21st September, it'd be dispatched in 3-4 days and after that, it should be delivered in a week”. This is what customer service rep told me yesterday. Whatever that is true I guess let’s wait and see

So for the last 2 weeks my tracking page has given dates 20-24 October for expected delivery. Today it’s changed to awaiting confirmation. Today is day 33 since I placed my order. Now wondering if I will ever get my phone

Oh no! Try refreshing the page or starting again because when I tracked mine this morning it came up with “we can’t track this order” but when I tried again it was fine.

I’m waiting on the same phone as you. Ordered in the 15th but not confirmed until 19th. It seems to be taking an age doesn’t it?!  I’m on day 31 of waiting having been reassured it would be 7 - 10 days “at the most”!!!
