Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

BT/EE have a pretty good forecasting team, they'll have requested as many as possible to try and meet demand but given their customer numbers it just won't be possible. The others you have mentioned are smaller virtual operators so won't have the demand for upgrades that the larger networks have. 

Admittedly EEs inconsistent messaging, with the 'guides' all telling people different things and the system issues on pre-order day haven't surrounded them in glory.

If it makes you feel any better people on the O2 forums were using EE as their example of people ordering and getting their handsets.

I got my DPD text about half an hour ago, although the EE tracker still says 30th October - 3rd November.

Should I believe DPD over EE?

Mine is a 1TB PM.

I just received my DPD text 🤞 I had ordered a PM 256 Black over the phone on the 22nd. September.

Im currently still waiting for the PM White 256 😞 Ordered 22nd , Online just says still awaiting confirmation delivery date and been like that since order got accepted. 

Order number 0033234. 

I think the main issue here. At least for me, is such bad communication from EE. I understand the wait, and the delays. It happens.

It's the fact that I ordered my phone almost a month ago, and I have had literally 0 communication from them. I committed to spend over £1,800 at this company and that isn't how you should get treated. 

Just my thoughts though.

I pre-ordered mine on the 16th and I just got my text so you might get it soon too. Fingers crossed!!

I have just spoke to a rather rude customer service advisor who liked to speak over the top and not let me get a word in edge ways. 

I totally understand the backlog and its apple sending out the supplies and thats why its slow and yes some colours are going to be more popular then others, However when ordering on the 22nd i was told 28 days and now coming upto the 28 days on Friday i have been told it could be another 28 days or more 😳 , My issue to him today was the lack of communication well should i say no communication.

I completely understand your situation because my 28 days ended last week and I haven't gotten my phone yet either. The issue is mostly with the White titaniums that have been out of stock for longer than the other colours. Makes sense because imo it's the most good looking one. You might get it soon as it seems that there's more stock on that colour and people are starting to get their dpd's messages. No one will be able to tell you when you'll get it tho so you'll just have to wait a bit longer. Might not be a consolation but we have all been there and even people who have pre-ordered before you are still waiting so you're not alone in that haze.

Currently talking to ee and they’re saying I can get my device straight away from the ee Store which I know has got to be a lie
