Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I got told  "I see that your order has reached the warehouse but has not been picked up yet by DPD" over two weeks back and said just like that so that's clearly script but regardless clearly something has gone very wrong with EE and Apple shipments.

I knew the second that line showed up that it was BS. I'd just like simple confirmation of how long I'd be waiting for. There's a very simple line of miscommunication, as well as clear lying and not understanding on EE's part. I mean, if other phone companies can get stock in why can't EE? Sounds like they're deliberately not asking for enough stock,

I heard blue phones are getting delivered faster so who knows but yeah til you get your DPD text is just a waiting game. We've all been there sadly 😕

All the other networks are suffering delays including Vodafone and O2. Asking for a lead time is like asking how long it'll take to fix an IT outage, as long as it takes unfortunately. Retailers are at the mercy of Apple, even if you went direct the estimated delivery time form Apple is roughly a month away.

Why do you think they would under order on purpose? They've nothing to gain from that, in fact with all the contacts and complaints ends up costing them money.

Still waiting for my pro max NT 1TB.  Ordered on 15th with anytime upgrade and got the usual system down stuff.  Called them back after a couple days and it went through - it’s showing 30th oct to 3rd November.

I was referencing the fact that GiffGaff, o2, Sky, as Tesco had quite a few in stock a few days ago or so.
I just thought the fact that some people who've pre-ordered are still waiting and some of them were told on launch day. So I thought that EE didn't order enough in to cover that and that's why they're playing catch up a bit. I'm probably if not completely off the mark, but that's just what I thought.
