Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I finally got my DPD text earlier with my pin. The app says DPD have received the order details and they are expecting the parcel from EE shortly. My order number was 0033168. 

How many days did it take for others to receive their phone after receiving their text?

Oh wow, I do think you'll definitely get yours within the next 2 weeks, Blue isn't as popular as NT so you should be alright and judging off of what everyone else has ordered I don't believe any people have ordered the Blue 1TB model

So today I got my confirmation email with my track for my order which I changed from iPhone 15 pro max NT to iPhone 15 pro max BT 512GB, my tracking is currently saying back order confirmed what does this mean? As on the website it says dispatched in 7 days but people on here who done the same as me  have been getting DPD texts literally the next day?

ohh dear.. back order means they have now run out and will need more from Apple to come. That said for some odd reason Blue keeps being restocked fast so you might still get it sooner then the NT you had ordered that I am waiting on too in same size.

I ordered on 15th September but like everyone else it was a mess and so order was finally confirmed on 19th. 

have had all the usual updates “great news your order is on track”! Etc 

Update says 30th October- 3rd November 

I just phoned EE for an update and I really wish I hadn’t. 

After 40 mins in the phone most of which was waiting I was told :

You’ll be waiting more than 28 days from today 

Call back on Tuesday when we can check stock updates 

So when do you think EE is going to tell everyone that lovely little piece of news!!! 😡

ohhh man, I have really had enough of this by now 😞 Truth told if I had not of already ordered and paid for a new case (been here weeks) and a screen protector for the new phone I would of probably just sod the phone off. I might still do that and get from someone else but yer this really has been a massive balls up.

I feel exactly the same - enough is enough now! I’m a pretty patient person but I don’t expect to be told 7- 10 days when the reality is likely to be 10 weeks! 

I'm about to sit down and write an email to customer complaints 

But yeah like you I’ve bought the case etc but still might walk!

Hopefully people who ordered around the 20th start getting texts soon, I'm just sat here twiddling thumbs waiting for a text now to be honest.
