I’ve had a horror story for anyone who wants to feel better.
I went to store on pre order day. System crashed as most know. Went back later in the day. Still unable to do in store. So I called and ordered via phone. Guy on phone was having issues so said would call me back day after to put order in.
16th September, order went in and got confirmation.
just watched this thread and waited for my text. Didn’t bother EE or anything.
Monday 2nd October get my DPD notification and phone will be delivered on the 3rd. And I went for 512 NT pro max.
tracked it on my DPD go to the part where I’m next….
next thing I know I have a notification saying EE requested device to be sent back to them. So I called DPD and they said the address was incomplete so when they scan it it automatically gets sent back to the Original sender (EE). Called EE and they tried to sort it. But couldn’t. I saw the driver drive away with the phone I’ve waited at this point 2 and abit weeks.
EE and DPD said there’s nothing they can do until they receive the phone in their end.
the next day 4th October I finally get someone who understands what happened. And he said that they didn’t fill in my flat number, because it’s on a separate line and when most people do the orders they just copy and paste the address and many forget to ask if it’s a flat.
So my only options. To the order again and sit at the back of the line. I got £30 credit and was told the upgrade anytime has been reduced to 10 months min before you can upgrade for free compared to the old 12 month period.
