Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

ye unfortunately it was like a hot potato below my a*se. What made it worse, is I ordered one for my friend through o2, because he couldn't get an upgrade, i ordered his on the 22nd, he got it on the 28th......

Ordered mine on 17th Sept, had absolutely no update on my device since.
I’ve been speaking to CS for a couple days and the white PM models are just not being shipped to them from Apple which is causing a massive delay for this device being shipped to customers. Apparently most orders are now caught up / being fulfilled apart from the white PM orders.
Mine has been flagged as priority to the warehouse due to the history of what happened to my order and that I’m going away, but unless they receive the device it won’t get shipped and they have none available.
Im going to wait until Mon/tues next week and if there is still no movement at all on the colour I picked then I’ll probably also swap my device for an alternative colour option.

by the way, there is no such thing as your order being "priority", if you was told that on webchat, ignore it, my advice, just switch the order, I spoke to a manager who spoke to the warehouse, they have not even been informed by apple when they will fulfill the white titanium, there seems to be a problem with the production itself

Wasn’t a webchat was CS and I’ve had 2 people inform me it’s been flagged to the warehouse to be fulfilled ASAP. I did originally say I didn’t believe it for a second, and there is a note on my order to say that dispatch needs to be done ASAP.
Im seriously debating it but it is a few quid more a month.

They are lying to you. They have tried that one with me this afternoon on live chat and when the operator was called out for it he panicked and passed me to the floor supervisor who after much waffling eventually conceded that this is impossible to do and that they will take the feedback for "Agent coaching" whilst trying to shut me up with £20 of credit.

Oh i know and I didn’t doubt it, just saying what I had been told on the phone 😊
I’m taking the plunge and just changing my phone as my contract works out to be about the same as I’m paying now but it’s a better spec phone & more data.
I’ve been told it’s a 7 day dispatch date from today, and that’s pretty set in stone so fingers crossed I can finally get a phone before my holiday 🤞🏻
