Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

No, same as mine too.

I understand how frustrating it can be waiting for your new device and stuff however you cannot take it out on the customer service team at EE. They know as little as we do, you'd expect them to know stock etc however that isn't the case and unfortunately due to demand some people are waiting a long time, my EDD is in November and if it's later it's later? There's nothing you can do, or the customer service team at EE do to speed up? They will not prioritise you over anyone else just like I do not expect to receive my iPhone before you.
I think people need to realise that this happens every year and it's not because of EE, it's more to do with Apple not producing enough iPhones to ship out to companies like EE, O2, Three etc to upgrade them customers as well as their own customers who are purchasing the phone directly from Apple. Believe me now, they will prioritise their own customers over phone providers.
Just be patient and always remember, EE Customer Services are doing the best they can to help customers who are in need. Orders / Upgrades, just hold tight. You'll receive it whenever you're in line to! Blame Apple, for not mass producing the iPhones and not EE.

Spreadsheet is up-to-date.
To access the spread sheet click here.
To add your info to the sheet, click here. Please only do this once. When your phone has been despatched/delivered you can change your delivery status in 'Form Responses 1' from "No" to "Yes". This gives you a nice big tick and shows where the orders are theoretically up to.

I do have sympathy for the customer service team but what I can’t stand is being lied to! Unless they had the phones physically in their warehouse then they shouldn’t have been making promises they could keep, yet even after all the promises they told about receiving phones on release day and disappointing everyone they still carried on lying, next week, within 14 days, within 28 days or order, after 28 days of order… there’s no consistency and none of them are reading off the same sheet, just seem to make it up as they go along. After the release day disaster they all should have had team meetings and been told not to make anymore promises and to just tell people the truth which is as soon as we get them in they go out to first come first served (which even that isn’t even true).

That’s right, but the problem
was .. if ee was honest to customer’s and say exactly what you explained, l believe no one will be upset. Some people was told 7 days, 14 days ect .. they will receive their phones, instead of telling them we aim to deliver your phone……. But we don’t have any new iPhone in stock .
it is my first time to upgrade with ee, usually l buy my phone direct from Apple. So if they told me, the latest you will receive the phone is November, l will wait…. But l still have a choice to cancel.
each time we call customer service you get different answers, is only towards the end of last month they explained to customers exactly what is going on..
some people cancelled orders and some of us we are waiting.
l have working phone and l am not planing to travel so l will wait.
some people traded the phones they’re using for the new one, so l understand why customers are frustrated.
Good luck to all 😊 keep smiling and wait for the DPD tex 😃

Agree totally. However, EE should by now understand that they need to train their staff to not go off script and just be honest with customers even if the truth is they don't have any more information or can't promise specific dates. I don't think for one minute EE didn't order enough. Apple will have not delivered the volumes the networks ordered. This will be because the software is not fully cooked until very soon before the launch date and therefore restricts the volumes they can get boxed up before the thar date. Apple should really extend the pre-order window more than a week to allow more stock to be available for all sales channels

I have been thinking of doing this so might call tonight and see what can be done, still get a massive worry that they cancel my current one and then go to order the 512GB and then they say oh it's now out of stock😂
Enjoy the phone!

He did say that currently the 512GB in blue was the only one they have of any stock currently
