Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I’m getting more and more impatient and frustrated about the lack of communication between us and EE. Kept on being told different things regarding the timescale.. Told I’d get my phone on launch day, then moved to 7 days then 14 and now 28 days?! No one seem to know what they’re doing!!

 

i ordered iPhone 15 PM Black 256GB on 20th September and my EDD is 20 Oct - 24 Oct… I’m losing hope that I’d get it early, have a feeling it’ll be right on estimate or even after as I see many people still waiting for theirs and they ordered before me 🥹🥹

I’ve been promised a lot more than £30. 

so I originally ordered on pre order day early afternoon (15PM 256gb BT) and was told the systems are down and they were going of a paper where the prices were lower then the prices on the web.

I get F&F discount so I was getting offered 30% off plus an extra £5 due to the web being down. I signed the contract electronically and was told phone will be with me on launch day.

fast forward to launch day and I’ve not got any dpd notifications or any order number… I. Called again and placed a new order and was promised that I’d get the phone on the 25th along with 10% discount (£54 pm for the 15 pm 256gb with unlimited calls/text/data and apple one bundle) called every day between 22-25 and was given false info every time.

i needed the phone for the 29th as it was a gift for someone… was promised that I won’t be getting it so I complained and was given £68 off. Also if I don’t get my phone within the promised 28 days I’ll get another £68 off.

 

I don’t mind waiting now as If I’d ordered the phone direct from apple without any tariff I’d be paying £50 and that’s what I’m paying as I’m getting £68 off.

 

sorry for the long message but I feel EE needs to up their game as this happens every year.

I no how it feels I got 13-17 October same phone had 6 returns packs and what seems to be a text telling me if I don’t return old phone gonna get charged yea right. Went on chat yesterday told me my phone is at the wherehouse in processing to be delivered this week utter lies got another return pack this morning making it 7 now spoke to them on chat guess what phone not coming surprise ee really need to up there game on this shambles

I ordered 15 PM NT 256 on the 17th @ 9am over the phone for my upgrade and had full faith in the lady telling me I’d receive on launch day.

Similar to you, I called on launch day and was told under 28 days from order (15th Oct) and my EDD is 20-24th Oct - clearly over 28 days. 

Customer service are completely useless and said ‘I just have to wait, nothing we can do for you’.

The deal and price agreed was based on the pretence I would receive my phone on launch day and no further, hence why we pre-order and pay a premium.

I’ve filed a  complaint due to amount of lies, mis-communication and the false sale, not once at the point of sale was I told it would be 28days delivery.

I hope everyone receives their phone soon!

Heyy, I got the good news message on 2nd October and text from DPD on the 4th and attempted delivery on the 5th! However, my address was wrong so hoping it’ll get delivered todayyyy 🙂 PM NT 512GB ordered 18th September

Nice! I was tempted to do the same but I am holding out for my NT as I already ordered a clear case so I can show it off to,,,,, myself lol
