Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I was late to the party, ordered iPhone 15 PM (256GB, Black) on Wednesday the 20th of September. Got the 0033 tracking number, but obviously still not gotten any updates or info from EE or DPD about getting the phone delivered since.
I just got off the online chat to them, they’re still sticking to their “first come first served” motto. However they did clarify that the 28 day waiting period was for people who ordered the phone from TODAY, not the preorders. She did assure me that we will get our texts from DPD and get deliveries from now till end of next week, or week after at most. Deliveries come twice weekly apparently. So maybe it’s better just to tell ourselves that we won’t see our shiny new phones till mid October. So frustrating, and I hope that you all will get your phones asap!

Customers are quite right and justified to feel angry for misrepresentation of delivery dates, Karens or not.
EE are very happy to take your money, but when it comes to delivering its someone else’s fault

In reference to annual upgrade. I’ve heard people on here mention to call CS once the phone has arrived and ask them to back date the contract start date to 15th Sep

Pie chart gave me a regret of not ordering 512GB.
256GB Natural Ti is highest ordered.
I love the new form. It is easier for submission.

Yea it’s mainly Apple to blame here.
Why they can’t make enough phones to come even close to satisfying the demand I’ll never know. Build a new factory, **bleep**. You’re the largest, richest, most profitable company on Earth, just get it done.

CS just told me the contract start date will be from the date the device gets delivered!

No one has any right to be abusive or take it out on the cs team. it's not their fault.
As for taking your money and not shipping. nothing they can do about it, they are a reseller, and they cannot ship out the orders when Apple is not sending or alocating phones to EE. Also might add All resellers are having the exact same problem. be it EE/Vodaphone/O2/3. you get the jist of it. Even on the Apple site itself, there are long lead times.
I also got told today. if you do an upgrade and speak to the general cs team they do not have access to the same screens as the upgrade teams. they have to physically phone them to get updates.
now where i am with you is when some cs blatantly make things up there definitely should be constant.
Lets hope apple release stock soon so we can all get our phones.
