Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Just another point I forgot to mention, when all this happened with the 13 PM 2 years ago, when my phone FINALLY came 5-6 weeks after the release day the order tracker page never even updated!!! 
I had my phone in hand and the tracker still said “Awaiting Confirmation”…

So, in my experience, the DPD notification is the only thing to watch out for..

I said I wouldn’t come back to the threads as it just makes me miserable.. but here I am again checking and posting making myself **bleep**ed off..

Im not doing this next year, im going to ignor all the hype of the 16 and just upgrade before Christmas when all the stock is back in….

I’ve not seen many posts on black PMs, have not many people ordered  them as they are unpopular this year or are they even more delayed than everything else?

So I've just had a phone call from EE after I raised a complaint. He was quite helpful, and said that any orders made before the 21st September will be within 28 days of order, any orders after the 21st will be in the over 28 days camp. 

Whether I take this with a pinch of salt I'm not sure, but we'll see...based on this I should get mine sometime within the next 18 days...!
