iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Same here, 033 order number , confirmed on 15th , 5 pm , 15PM 256 Natural….Not expecting anything happening until tonight or till end of the week , if not it’s gonna be long wait.

Hopefully some of us have some movements/updates today. I placed my ordered Thursday (was undecided to upgrade or not) to be told 5-7 days then yesterday to be told within 14 days. Yeah I’m not expecting that to happen.

Loads of optimism today from some. I ordered 15th at 1.05pm and confirmed at 4.40pm with 03 number received. I reckon end of October I might receive!

iPhone 15 pro is now showing In stock dispatch within 1 day 

I wonder if this is true .

 

I did go into my local Ee store yesterday and they had stock of the pro 

As for IPhone 15 pro max they are still taking orders for them with it saying “dispatch in more than 28days.

Surely at this point you would think it would say sold out and no orders being taken due to the back log they already have .

 

Same here for time of my order, I was told next day delivery, when I phoned I was told Saturday, on Saturday I was told Monday. Saturday I was told there’s no way a wait of 28 days it’s 7 days but expect it on Monday. 
Today if I’ve not had anything by 11 from DPD I’m going to put a complaint in, 3 times the lead time has been misrepresented. I wonder if they are doing this to their business customers ? 

I’m a business customer and yes they are being equally awful to us too unfortunately.

Took me 3 days to get my Natural, 15 PM, it's my first time on Apple for 11 years after being a Samsung member.

After initially ringing to pre-ordering. The system crashed, another 2 days of systems crashing or breaking and I finally got my Pre Order in. Also pre ordered the new watch to boot.

 

Then to be told not to expect it for upto another 28 days 😂. Day 3 after release i have 1 watch. And nothing to pair it too 🤷‍♂️ 

 

Not the greatest of starts for Apple 😬

Just finished on the phone to EE. Was their first customer to ring in today I think, I rang bang on 8am. Anyway, I was calling to find out why my order number had changed from an 0033 number to an 02 number. The first advisor was a little rude. Telling me ‘let me finish….’, anyway rang straight back to check if what he was telling me was right. Rye second advisor had a bit of a brain. Knew what he was doing. He explained an 0033 number is just EE’s systems ‘Master Order’ number, but the 02 number is reflecting the ‘Open Sales’ 0033 number is now being prepared. It’s still hadn’t been ‘picked’ yet, but he said to look out for my 02 order number to show movement. That the reason my order number is giving me the ‘can’t track this type of order….’ message is that it’s now being prepared and the next movement will only be when it’s being picked as in a handset allocated. Thats when DPD will notify also 🤷🏿‍♂️

The two things I'm tired of at the moment, first off it's this never changing order screen that's look liked this since I pre-ordered on the 15th, and remains in this state even today.

The second thing is EE's hold music, you know what I'm talking about if you've phoned CS which can take an hour to get through.  I was humming the tunes even when I wasn't calling them 😅

Anyway, I'm was hoping this would move today, but after a call over the weekend it doesn't look likey.  The lady at CS stated that they are being told to say 28 days now as a blanket statement.  It's just a waiting game, the more frustrating aspect of this is that everyone else who's ordered seems to have theirs from other providers.  It's just EE that seem to have all the drama.

Been trying to get through to EE since 9pm last night on their chat. Got through to someone at 08:10, who then randomly disconnected and I was put back into the queue at a 2 hour wait
