Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Hi guys iv bin on the phone number of times today till the point I feel like I got a answer they have got some coming in tomorrow i know for the light grey one I went for they only got around 500 but apparently over 6000 back orders so don’t know who will get but hopefully some people will be notified tomorrow x

Is anyone yet to receive a confirmation email? 

15 PM NT 256gb, confirmed 15:30 on the 15th. Was told I would receive the phone on release day. I didn’t, but oh well, been on the XS for 4.5 years, can wait a few more days haha. Been in contact with EE on two separate occasions since ordering and both times confirmed that the order has gone through and that I would be unlikely to get a confirmation email since I ordered on the phone. 

Seeing a lot of you getting confirmation emails now, so slightly concerned. Not bothered with calling EE now as I kinda feel for the CS agents, they’re being told all sorts of rubbish, and getting the brunt of it.

I feel ya iv bin told a number of different things and it’s like how this possible when they are train up to work with ee right I did speak to 2 people and they both said got them coming in stock tomorrow I will not be happy if iv bin lied to but I had a feeling they are telling the truth as both advisors said it so hopefully will get something tomorrow and be with u by Tuesday let’s hope they are coming in quick which I guess is a good thing hey they have to give 28 in case it takes a longer period but it’s looking good I guess for now .

My order just saying iv ordered it when I track it not moved and have not received anything other then that and a text saying the iPhone will be with me as soon as possible more like 100 years of waiting right lol

Ordered the 15 PM NT 256GB on Friday 15th, got the confirmation a few minutes after my order at 21:35, so far not had any update on a dispatch date. 

spoke to EE customer services yesterday (23rd) who said I was at the front of the queue for the phone I’d ordered and it should be dispatched within 7 days - here’s to hoping!

See stuff like that they should not say as then puts you into a hopeful mood and then when u don’t get it in that time frame it will upset u and make u fell frustrated does my heading when ee do that they don’t know who’s in front of who or they would be telling everyone that u know I only was able to do mine at 8pm on 15 of September when the systems was up and running what colour did u order ?

Crazy isn’t it. You’d have thought the line would be “expect to wait up to 28 days”. End of. Set the expectation and then if it comes earlier, everyone happy! Not this mess of telling people different things.

it’s not worth being angry about, just cannot believe two companies (plus the rest), like Apple and EE can mess up so badly!

I know it is crazy I’m annoyed because iv bin told so many different things even time u ring ee and does not help when put though to different people in different areas so disagree with the other people that drives me mad there all trained in the same way I was thinking lol maybe I was wrong just got to see what happens tomorrow now hey x
