iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Was one of the lucky ones and received my natural titanium 15 pro max (256gb) iPhone and Apple Watch series 9 (pink 45mm) this morning.

Had a nightmare with my plans for both devices though and had to call on two separate occasions to get my Apple Watch plan and my phone plan sorted. Taken about 4 hours in total to get sorted, but it’s finally done. 

I’m convinced some of the staff at EE make problems for themselves and wonder why their call queues are so busy all the time.

iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural Titanium, Upgrade anytime, order "placed" at 13:41 online and finalised over the phone at 16:54. Order confirmation sent through immediately following this with trackable 03 number. No updates since, other than the stock text EE sent out yesterday.

Just to add what I've been told by customer service through live chat just now... The person I spoke to said that they're currently being advised that the majority of orders for iPhone 15 Pro Max will be shipped "on launch day" (he said this multiple times, the emphasis seems to be on and not before), and the timeframe they gave me was up to 5 days after launch. They closed off by saying that if I haven't heard back after 7 days, to get in touch again.

I do want to add  that I definitely don't really think this is actually correct information, as it seems to be at odds with what's actually going on. Like, are they saying that some people will have gotten their orders shipped before launch date, and for the other people who already have 03 orders like myself, they are going to be shipped out from today? Seems kinda weird imo.

Anyway, just sharing what I've been told for everyone else to muse over.

I’ve received my 15PM 512gb in NT. Got it delivered to the shop …. I didn’t think I would get it today as got no confirmation texts or emails and when I initially upgraded online on the Friday I got a message that I had to confirm details. Had to wait in a queue for about 3 hours to confirm details so must have been after 5, 6ish before order was properly processed.

Glad you received it. But are you saying you received no notification at all from the lines of dpd, or texts and emails telling you it'll be delivered?

I just got a call from EE, when I answered they said nothing and hung up. When I called back a voice message told me they’d call back.

wonder what they’re playing at. I haven’t called to chase them or spoke to them since completing the order over the phone.

I’m hearing my friend ordered the iPhone pro max in Nat Titanium yesterday and he’s already received his delivery today, How can this be EE??

Just spoke to EE, they advised they received NO deliveries of the Pro model iPhones hence no update with tracking from DPD. They aren’t even able to advise when they would get stock as they’re waiting for Apple to deliver stock to them! So my order of a PM NT will come when it comes! £30 credit on my next bill as compensation! I wouldn't have minded if they just said keep an eye out for delivered updates but blatantly telling customers our orders will be delivered for launch day knowing they wont is a joke.  Miss-selling at its finest! Well done EE

@Lawtq I didn’t get any notification at all in respect of phone. I ordered the watch ultra 2 at the same time. I received a DPD notification and contacted chat to see what it was item it was for (didn’t tell me in the DPD app). CS confirmed the notification was for my watch. During that chat I asked if there was an update on the PM. She gave the DPD tracking number via chat but I didn’t get anything from DPD or EE in respect of the phone. I used the tracking number given on DPD website to see where it was at (delivered to store at that point … this was yesterday). I would have had no clue what was happening otherwise. Still not had any of the usual texts about new plan etc. Really odd. I hope everyone gets some news soon … I know from last year, how frustrating this can all be 🥴.
