Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Yeah it might be worth ringing, I only received my confirmation with the xko number 6pm on the 15th. Not a peep since, rang an hour ago to be advised of it being possibly 28 days. Would've been nice to receive a text or email like others did.

I would call up. Same thing happened to me. Server was down was their excuse. I ordered on Friday, had all the contract agreements signed by text, still no tracking or anything. Called back Monday, and they said they couldn't find the order!, they redid it, and I signed a fresh quicker agreement. Got the 0033 email straight away, Monday this is. Just today at 5pm got my text of its coming don't call, and then got my PIN. Nothing from DPD yet or no update showing the new phone on the app either.

Hi from EE. We just want to let you know that everything is on track with your order for your iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it should be delivered in the timeframe you were given when you placed your order. We are working hard to get your iPhone 15 Pro Max to you as soon as possible, and there is no need to call us to get an update on its progress. We will be in touch with further updates before we despatch your phone. Don’t think I’ll get it tomorrow then I didn’t even get a timeframe lol

not entirely sure what to do with the PIN, whether it's the one I'm hearing of that's to do with avoiding unauthorized use of the SIM, or whether it's to give to the DPD driver🤷♂️, I heard 14PM upwards have SIM PIN's?

Very disappointed that EE staff are telling customers they will get their device on launch day knowing full well they’re lying! It would be so much better to be honest so customers know where they stand. I placed an order on the 16th first thing in the morning. The advisor told me you’ll get it for launch day. My order is confirmed on my account but no updates on delivery schedule. Reading the comments here its looking more like October before it arrives which i wouldn't have minded if they just told me that at the point of sale!It’s just bad customer service to lie to customers which is only gonna hit them in the customer feedback. I guess they’re all on commission so telling customers what they want to hear after taking an order helps them meet their targets! When a brand starts lying to its customers it’s only a matter of time before their reputation will be tarnished! Ill defo be giving them the feedback (not that they care) but its just leaves a bad taste thereafter finding out you’ve been lied too over something that could have been handled so much more easily with transparency and truth.

Spoke to EE chat before, they said that DPD should send out a delivery notification in the morning as it is expected to be delivered tomorrow. Some DPD couriers do things to differently. So whilst I’ve been panicking about not getting a notification all day it’s because they do stuff differently depending on the part of the country.

Dpd send 2 notifications, 1 stating they have the order on their systems ready to collect and the 2nd the next morning advising about the time for delivery which is normally after 10am

I so badly want this to be for me but I got my DPD notification for my watch at 7am this morning so would like to think my phone would have been the same time 😭
