Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I have a mate who has a mate that has a dog, and his human works for EE, apparently (and take this however you want) he smells BS regarding Equil’s post. 

In all fairness, having many dealings with the exec team at EE, I’ve known the information they give to be just as unreliable as the info coming out of any other department. I can’t see EE not having any stock. A guy on the phone told me that EE have changed the way they indicate stock levels - basically they now state available for 1 day/next day delivery, witching 14 days and within 28 days. He said it’s EE’s way of setting expectations when coming to pre-orders. This is probably BS too though, just like Equil’s post

@wizzywig27 I agree with you!
EE is the biggest mobile provider in UK, they have a good relationship with Apple and they are always the provider with most stock for iPhones, has been like that for good couple of years now.

I don't have a dog that's friend of a cat with a hooooman at EE, but I do know LOGIC... EE/BT would NEVER go trough such a thing as that would divert customers to other providers or Apple directly... and EE is very proud to be the #1 for customer portfolio, speeds and services... so without evidence using LOGIC only... it's BS 😄

You must have had the same lady as me. She told me because launch day was Friday I wouldn’t get it till Monday. Not sure she quite understood what launch day meant. To be fair I’ll be happy with Monday rather than a month or more!

I had an absolute nightmare with EE customer service trying to get my upgrade sorted.

Called on Friday to be told to call back at 5pm as all their systems were down. Called back at 5pm and a lady helped me sort out my contract. She got it through only to then tell me they couldn’t proceed with my upgrade as their trade in system for upgrade anytime was down. At this point, iPhone 15 pro max was at 14 days ETA. 
Called back again on saturday only to be greeted with an absolute rude person who essentially refused to help me or upgrade my phone, due to me having discounts on my account. 
called again Sunday to finally try to preorder, at this point she informed me that all iPhones were now at 28 days ETA from release day. 
I called EE this morning and he’s advised that expected ETA for my phone should be around 20th October, but could receive sooner depending on stock received from Apple.

Just had a text saying I need to read an important email sent, no email so contacted CS….

Orders are starting to be confirmed slowly (you may get a text, you may get an email, if you don’t get one or the other don’t panic it’s a ongoing issue) with shipments starting as early as tomorrow/friday 👀🤞🤞🤞 fingers crossed

I just called EE myself for an update. I was basically told that EE have postponed ALL Pro Max orders because Apple have delayed stock to them. Only phones going out are the Pro’s.

Still can’t see it myself but it’s been an absolute s**t show this year. In fact they beat the previous record of being the worst launch ever. 

Imagine claiming to be the best network 10 years in a row and they can’t sort out a launch, that happens EVER SINGLE YEAR!

I’ve been told the PM is delayed for up to 28days, so hopefully there isn’t a long delay. I spoke to a lady who had the same issue last year but she got her phone 11 days after release date, fingers crossed they come quickly 🤞🏻

i think we can all assume no one actually knows jack so wait until tomorrow…
