I’ve upgraded over the phone at 1pm and got an email confirmation but without the xkm number just the account number, should I worry?

I received a xko code but after reading this thread I jumped on live chat to confirm the order which the representative did but gave me a 02 order not a 001 or 002 order number like a lot of people are talking about in this thread, should I be worried or?

It’s been painful. I ordered online and based upon past experience I thought I’d double check the order went through. Apparently it didn’t despite me receiving emails confirming the order and the fee being pending on my bank account … so I then spent an eternity on a web chat and ordered again . That time I was told it went through and so I got a text that time and another email. I asked only have an order number because asked for it. They gave me a number beginning with 02 that won’t track on the order tracker . I also now have two pending payments in my bank account. .hopefully just one goes through.. hopefully I just get the one phone.. bit of a **bleep** show really. A company like ee should have this process nailed and it should be stress free!

Only one payment should be taken from your bank for you. If you would like to check the order and the reference number, please get in touch with our mobile care team on 150 and they can check the order details for you.

I was upgrading, I’ve only received the XKO order number at 13:08 never anything else. Spoke to some on the chat and confirmed the order for Friday, so confusing ha

Ordered at 13:05, received my XKO number straight after. Once I got home at 19:30 gave 150 quick call and theyve confirmed my order. During the call i got my Order Confirmed email with my 002 order number which is working on the tracking page. Delivery date is saying Awaiting Confirmation.

I also went onto chat and received and 02 number instead of 001 or 002. When I try to track, it tells me:
Sorry, you can't track this order type just yet.
At this time, we can only provide tracking for orders with a pay monthly device. Items ordered with our superfast delivery service and some orders with multiple items also can't be tracked.
But it is a pay monthly device. I’m concerned.

Mine is also pay monthly, brand new contract not an upgrade.
I found my tracking to work using my email alongside the 002 number. It didnt work using my mobile number, maybe try that if you havent already.
