I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I only ever got an XKO number, nothing else, and DPD says it is due to be delivered Friday. I ordered at exactly 1pm on the 9th.

Well just got a tracking number and said will deliver today lol I give up. Haha

Track says awaiting confirmation no texts nothing! 

I suppose we get get movement on tracking until we are assigned a DPD tracking number

Live chat didn't give me a tracking number. Said first come first serve and '2-3 days'. Not hopeful and so upset. Paid £9.98 for delivery. Maybe it's because I paid my upfront with AMEX and it was pending until Monday, although the money was applied for so that shouldn't be an issue.

He just finished with this, so will just leave it now. 

Your order is just handed over to DPD and Tracking number is just generated while I was checking.

I would request you to please wait till tomorrow as all orders are processed on the basis of first come first serve.

As you placed the order on the first day you are going to get the order on the first day of launch date.

just have to wait and see 😊

That's the thing - the order that we order in isn't always how it's processed!

I ordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max in purple on pre-order day, then ordered the Apple Watch 8 a few days ago. Problem is, I only ever received the xko number for the watch and the phone was ordered over the phone. DPD says that there’s a parcel due to be delivered tomorrow from EE, but I have no way of knowing if it’s the phone, the watch or both! 😂 Guess it’ll be a surprise!

I pre ordered mine 1pm on release day, only to get a call yesterday saying i can get at a much cheaper deal. So now im thinking i have been pushed to the back of the queue. Anyones been dispatched yet?

Yeah I ordered the iPhone and the watch same day. When I quoted the iPhone Xro number he brought up the watch which concerned me, but as we were talking he stated the tracking number generated.  If it comes it comes, nothing I can really do about it x

Chat are of absolute no use.  Not getting anywhere. Still on "Awaiting confirmation". No EE texts, no DPD notificaitions. Nothing.

If nothing by lunch time, 150 it is!
