I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Not entirely sure that he is correct! 

I got an xko and it was an upgrade, from SIM Only to a handset plan. I spoke with someone on Chat and they gave me the 02XX number.

Neither order references are traceable at the moment.

I only got them numbers too I think we all just have to wait and see

I'm certain when I ordered the SIMO I didn't get even a confirmation, the SIM just turned up a day or two later.

When I originally had a handset plan years ago and upgrade I would get an xko number but no further information until DPD sent me a message to advise that it would be delivered the following day. 

The moderators / advisers on here are probably unlikely to comment on this thread now.

@Chris_B / @XRaySpeX - either of you offer any insight?

Ive always recieved a xko after my upgrade and then nothing else till DPD have the item.

A good shout would be to install the dpd app and make a profile with your address usually you get information from dpd picking your phone up before ee email you with dispatch.

It doesnt hurt to contact ee to make sure everything has gone through if your worried.

Ive been told on the phone to customer services and by numerous reps on the help chat that the 02 order number is the same thing as the 002 number. No one can provide me with an 002 number or even acknowledge they are different to the 02 reference number they give out. 

 

I have both the xko and 02 numbers but can't track either. I haven't received any email confirmation of my order except the one I initially received with the xko number.

in my experience over the last few of my orders/upgrades ive only had a kxo after ordering and never been able to track anything untill time to disptach but always recieved my orders when expected or before

Just to say i called today to check both order confirmation and the return of the £100 fee, bizarre he said regards the refund. 

all confirmed with order and its waiting shipment for delivery Friday. He advised the order had been picked and will dispatch Thursday. I questioned been picked? he advised yes this has gone through picked and you will receive Friday.

this is the iPhone 14 Pro Deep Purple 256GB.

Retailers will have most if not all handsets by now and will be getting everything ready in the next few days.

I imagine their retail stores will have the store versions to learn about the features and selling points, if not today then they’ll have them in their hands tomorrow.  

It will all be embargoed and not allowed out of the secure back room.

I have known in previous years that some people had their DPD notifications 2 days before launch day but only got the item on the correct day (Not saying if that doesn’t happen you won’t get yours).

Link/button in my confirmation email does nothing either … order tracks online through the tracker which is the main thing.
