I pre-ordered on the 10th Sept but someone at call centre put a wrong delivery address so had to be re-placed again on the 12th Sept. by a call centre agent ( a new order number was given - starts with 002...) I was told that my phone (iPhone 14 Pro max) would be delivered on the launch date, 16th Sept. It never did. I'd let it slide because i knew how busy it was for them.
I waited another week. I'd tracked my order on the website's tracker using my new 002... order number and it showed that it was due for a dispatch in 24 hours. I rang the call centre again to get an understanding of delivery timeframe and they asked for the xko ref number (not sure why they never asked for the 002... order number).
The lady then said that the order was due to be delivered the following day - great! i was excited - she even said that if i dont hear anything the following day, ring back on the same number.
The next day happened, and still didn't get any texts or notifications. As instructed, I rang back the same number and got through to someone who sounded like she didn't want to help. She asked for the xko number (again) and said that my phone will be delivered 3 weeks from 12th Sept? ... ehh?! I was very confused!
Frustrated with the wrong information I was given, I decided to go to the store to get a better understanding and the guy there had said (after checking) my phone hadn't been delivered and he didn't know when it will be delivered (he didn't even take any details off me).
Fast forward to now, the order tracker on the website says the order has been dispatched. Now fingers crossed it will be delivered soon.
I guess the bigger issue here is whether the phone will be delivered any sooner or not, but it's more of the information given by the customer service team has been very confusing (and Im a brand new EE customer too) so it's kind of off-putting!
I wonder if anyone else has faced/facing the same?
