I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Same boat as me, showing Tuesday but dpd app is already showing as on its way and I know they sometimes leave the depot quite late on so every chance it still comes tomorrow.

@lspoor They did take responsibility… they even offered to discount your monthly bill and refund the upfront cost - You’re not going to get your phone any quicker by repeatedly calling and abusing CS, get a grip and just wait. You’re free to go to another company or directly to Apple but you’re not going to get the device any sooner that 14 days

When I spoke with EE just now they said that DPD can still collect stock up to 9pm so they said to keep on until then, and that it could still potentially be a case that you get a sms in the morning with a delivery slot, he said it’s not uncommon for DPD to send text details the morning of delivery! He said the device is at a warehouse waiting to be collected & that there is nothing on the system to say I won’t get it tomorrow so we shall see - he seemed pretty confident but couldn’t 100% guarantee it

It won't have been their fault - they've done all they can to try help you. Sadly, it happens!

It is their fault though, they cancelled the order and created a new one for no reason. I already had a confirmed order which I made on pre-order day.

But it isn't the personal fault of that CS agent who takes your call. They offered you mitigation - it sucks but they've done all they can 😞

No not at all the CS agents fault! Trying to get to the bottom of why someone on sales has done this cancellation.

Got a notification from DPD. It's either the phone, or the watch I ordered less than 10 minutes ago. We shall see!
