I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Ah you should've gone Envirofone!

The price they're offering me currently (providing I get it to them in time) is £495. But now EE has messed up and no idea when my 14 is arriving I'll be delayed on sending my 12 to Envirofone so will probably lose money on that😊

Happy to share my experience…

  • pre-ordered on Friday 9th at 1:15pm
  • Upgraded from existing contract and completed via online
  • model selected 14 Pro Max 256GB Deep Purple
  • received XKxxx number to confirm order.

I couldn’t track this online or through the apple. 

received a message from EE in the Sunday asking me to call them about my upgrade. turned out my upgrade wasn’t due until 12th October as contract didn’t end until 12th Nov. Advisor kindly processed my order and removed the early upgrade fees of £158. at this point I received the 2xxx confirmation order number. This was my official upgrade date (11th) and not the 9th. 

I received my DPD notification early this afternoon approx 2pm advising my item has been collected. I am not waiting for them to confirm delivery for tomorrow. Very confident will take place. 

does feel like there isn’t a particular process or system as mine was technically processed 2 days after the preorder opened and I’m likely to get mine tomorrow. 

hope the above helps in some shape or form.

Just spoke with DPD they said there’s no delivery under my address details & nothing they can see scheduled for tomorrow or Saturday 🙃🙃

Happy to ready all these great stories - enjoy your phones tomorrow. Mine was most likely just human error, and hopefully will be here Saturday. Hopefully it really has been allocated.

Nope. Last call back i had I had a text from EE giving a heads up but nothing for this one so i’m better they’re not even going to bother! Useless once again!

Now trying 150 but waiting ages for someone to answer.

Hi all, I’ve been a silent watcher on here since this is my first launch day pre order, ordered the Friday at like half 6 at night, heard absolutely nothing only got the xkn number. Yesterday received texts saying about my plan changing and that’s it no update no DPD…I went on live chat earlier and they gave me the tracking number can see this has now been delivered to store that I requested to….so if you don’t hear anything further definitely make contact as it seems really hit and miss
