iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Preorder tracking thread

I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

For what it's worth, the Apple site says delivery 21st / 28th of October for Pro Max  and 14th/21st for the Pro. The standard 14 is showing for next week or so.

 

Read into that what you will. It may be because of the amount of preorders but could be a delay I guess.

 

Some form of notification would be a basic assumption though.

Delivery on the Apple site is based on ordering right now though, not if you ordered on pre-order day.

"Thank you for waiting. I have checked the details for you and let me inform you that the delivery will start from 16th so we are not able to track it now and it will be delivered as first come first serve bases."

Deliveries from the 16th ? Oh my this pre order is so messed up ? The guy on upgrades over the phone said launch day lol 😭

So is it good to have an XKO number or the one beginning with '002'? I have access to the tracking page using that number.

If you have both of those the order is processed. Just a waiting game now for the tracker to update.

I tell a lie, I do have an XKO number. I received this on the first email "Please call us to discuss your order". Once I phoned them and sorted everything out I received another email which was confirming my order long with an 002 number. I guess I'm all good, and fingers crossed for delivery Friday.

I did jump on live chat to confirm this though and received the following. Do these agents even read what we ask? Sent me a script as if I'm a new customer and haven't even made an order? Anyway, guess I'll wait for the text from EE.

 

Thank you for showing interest in the new Iphone, we really appreciate your choice, we can pre-order this for you now however the launch is on 16th Sep and it would be dispatched on first come first serve basis so we would request you to wait for the text from EE which comes in 24 hours before the delivery, it will contain all the information related to the delivery date and timescales
