I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the online tracker, last year mine was stuck at awaiting confirmation and only changed once I got the text from DPD the day before it was delivered. If I remember right I got my 13 delivered a week after launch day.

I only have a text message with the 002 which I received at 13:12 when I came off the phone. It says the order is confirmed though and takes me to the tracker. No emails at all and I can't see the specific details for my plan on MyEE. Just crossing fingers now.

Ordered over the phone and guy said I was his first call

Most likely EE playing lottery with Pro Max orders.

I had neither just an email confirmation with no ref numbers. I rang over the phone

I only received a text after pre ordering with a link to track the order no email just a 002 order number think I might ring ee to speak to someone over the phone see if they give me a different story to what the live chat agent told me

@Lol9 does link let you track?

 

@NickH16 I got same with one of my orders placed over the phone. Did you approve T&Cs?

@Sal09  Yes it lets me track it but just pre order confirmed and awaiting confirmation for the delivery date

So updates!!

I just had a phone call from EE. Apparently theres been a few issues and some orders have been placed on Royal Mail 1st/2nd class service which wouldn't be dispatched until Monday (not sure how this would work with the bank hol too, so I imagine even more delays. The guy on the phone called just to confirm what I ordered as well as the plan. Once confirmed he's now changed this to the DPD service so it will be picked today, dispatched tomorrow and delivered Friday!

Anybody else encountered similar? Glad mines all sorted and will be delivered Friday!
