I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

GOT MY DPD NOTIFICATION!!!! FINALLY!! yet still no contact at all from EE

Changed my order to the Pro Max Gold 256gb because it said on the site it would be dispatched within 2 weeks rather than 28 days but almost coming up to the 2 week mark now and the EE tracker still says I can’t track it yet so I’m not too hopeful…

Also have been sent a text from EE to say that they’re charging me £330 because I haven’t sent in my trade-in despite ringing 3 weeks ago and being assured that they’d cancel that one and send out a new pack nearer the time I should receive my phone… 🙄

😂 it really is Christmas come early.

Had all the texts from EE about change of plan but no time slot from DPD yet 😰 says collected from sender so assuming they haven’t collected from a store in Timbuktu, there’s still a glimmer of hope for today!

This is the just like the PS5 pre-order fiasco all over again 😅. Ordered an upgrade to the 128gb Black Pro yesterday, was told in stock and that it'd be delivered today. No update after that, called this morning to be told it was out of stock now somehow. Cancelled and ordered the 256gb Silver Pro today, apparently plenty of stock of that, but I'm keeping my expectations low. Always the same way with EE, there's a disconnect between CS/Sales and their order fulfillment team which leaves them completely unable to manage expectations. It has been this way for years so don't expect any change soon, regardless of the number of complaints in this thread.

I have just come off the phone with CS where I changed my order from 14 Pro Silver 128GB to 14 Pro Silver 256GB.

Still awaiting my email confirmation but was asked if I wanted it to be delivered tomorrow which I replied a hard YES. 

Now we wait.
