iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Preorder tracking thread

I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

does anyone know if for dpd ask for any identification on delivery? I’m not going to be home but my partner will be so hoping they can sign for the phone 📱

DPD will ask for ID, if your partner has the same surname they can accept the order for you.

I have never been asked for ID from DPD.. and wasn’t asked today.

It’s annoying the advice on the forum in conflicting as in upgrades don’t need id. Very annoying as it was stated at time of ordering and isn’t mentioned on the ee website

So I’ve been down the complaint route now. 

Didn’t get that far though. £30 credit to my account and that’s it. 

Still no phone, still no DPD text and no update on anything. 

Horrific service.

How come that people who ordered later than I did * I ordered my iPhone 14 Pro Max Silver 128 GB on the 12th * getting their iPhone 14 Pro Max already?

I had to pay £100 upfront just to wait for weeks?

ordered 11th online confirmed 13th by phone

So my day 

woke up no DPD notification 

checked EE tracking (yesterday estimated delivery 28th-30th)

AWAITING CONFIRMATION 

after a few choice swear words I called CS, sorry we don’t have any stock right now we are expecting me in a week or 2 but let me call a few of your local stores to see if they have any, 5 minutes of silence later good news iv found you stock at Meadowhall a 30 minute drive from me.                                                               GREAT 

he said to call the store to reserve a phone and go and pick it up

so I call the store after 30 minutes of me calling the store I finally get an answer                                Sorry that stock is reserved 

so I call CS back as iv seen that they have PRO MAX Deep purple in 1TB storage CS said yes we have 3 in stock so I pay the £330 upfront cost and all is well go through all the T&C’s order goes through get an email confirming the order 

1 hour later a get a DPD notification we are expecting your EE parcel. Then i noticed the delivery address is wrong so I called CS AGAIN i explained the the delivery address is wrong CS said let me check sorry MR.L your package is due to be delivered today, HOW!!! I said I only ordered an hour ago ok let me check with my manager I’ll get back to you 10 minutes of silence passes he finally gets back on to me we have changed your delivery address and you will get the delivery on Saturday 

tracking is now showing the correct address and will be delivered Friday 

So roll on Friday I’ll get it

DPD notified me today at 19:25 that they are expecting a parcel.
