I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I've ordered on 17th, the tracking still doesn't work but the call centre say it's being processed. When are orders from 17th September expected for delivery? The tracking service is so poor.

I think it depends which spec/colour you ordered.
But I ordered on the 9th (processed on 12th) and haven't heard anything so you may be in for a bit of a wait.

I did. Ordered on 12th but not received it. Did say 28-30th sep on tracking now back to awaiting confirmation

The Apple website is currently showing delivery from 28/10 - 04/11 on all 14 PM models. I’m not going to hold my breath that EE will be able to deliver before then if Apple can’t 😞

I've upgraded as part of the Anytime Upgrade option and have to send my old phone back in.
What happens if I don't get the phone before the deadline date I've been given to send my old phone back which is 8th October? Something tells me this isn't likely.
Also, does the 24 months on the new contract start when I eventually get the phone delivered? What happens to my current contract?

I had the same question. My return date was supposed to be by the 25th or a £630 charge 😅 I don’t think I’ve had a charge, yet…
But Ive been told by online chat, I won’t get charged and if I do Ill get a refund and I also called and spoke to someone as didn’t trust that. They assured me it’s 14 days after the new phone has arrived to return and to ignore all the ‘warning’ messages. So that’s what I’m going by.

You won't need to return the phone until you receive your upgrade. If you receive any emails or texts before the upgrade arrives, please call us on 150 and the team can note your account for you. The plan will change once your phone has been dispatched and your contract dates will change.
