I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I ordered my iPhone online on Monday 12 Sep 2022 and only got XKO order number on my email. No follow up email from either EE or DPD, but when I tried register to DPD app using the same phone number and email address as my online order detail, I can see that my iPhone is currently in transit to be delivered tomorrow. So it might be a good idea for everyone who hasn't received any update to register to DPD app

Mine is very strange. Had a notification to say watch is on the way this morning at about 8am, nothing from EE until about 5:30 when I got an telling me it’s out for delivery!!!

My talk plan has changed on my phone, had loads of texts etc but nothing is showing in the DPD app at all for the phone.

according to live chat mine is currently being picked and will be dispatched tomorrow...yet on the phone I was told up to 2 weeks.

DPD is not giving any info for me and I ordered over the phone on Monday. Got promised Friday delivery 😂

Stay positive, I got a notification from DPD, same boat as you, new order was processed yesterday after they cancelled my original. Went on to live chat to see if was the phone or the watch and they confirmed it was the phone. iPhone 14 pro max 256gb silver. You may yet get it tomorrow. Or at least early next week at the latest

Brilliant news!! Used the tracker live chat gave me and can clearly see my phone in the packages with my name on so hope we get the text first thing tomorrow exciting stuff!

Why would DPD give you any info?  You are not there customer. 

I might have misread your post. Do you mean the app or dpd direct?

Why wouldn’t you get dpd tracking?  Once they are processed and labelled for you it will have a dpd tracking number. It’s still early in the day to say you won’t get it tomorrow. They can and have sent notifications of delivery in the early hours of the day of delivery. The hub at Hinckley is processing all orders. Not just EE but all over networks and can you imagine the workload they have at the moment.
