I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Ah I thought I was being paranoid. Ordered over the phone, got not tracking, xko etc. But they assured me that it has been ordered. Good to know, thanks!

This is correct. You rarely get emails when you order over the phone!

My experience… upgraded through live chat on Friday for the pro max 256gb silver. I was online before 1pm doing this but only finished around 2:30. I received a confirmation email but no order number on the email just my account number. The agent I’d processed the order with gave me an order number though starting 02 once she’d put my order through. Every time I’ve been on to track my order I’ve had the you can’t track this order message.

This evening I’ve had a message from DPD to say my order will be delivered tomorrow!! I went back online to check the 02 order number and still showing as can’t track. When I’ve been on the EE app and pressed on Plan I get another sorry message to try again later too, it’s been like this since I upgraded on Friday. Hoping DPD are right and I do get it tomorrow, it’ll be a good start to my birthday weekend.

I know it’s only a phone, but god I haven’t upgraded in 3 years and I want some new tech, I will be so gutted if it doesn’t come tomorrow

If you ordered on Monday i'd imagine you would have no chance.

Ordered over the phone 9th 13:20

got email same day with 0020 reference 

DPD app updated today with my order and tariff changed today

around 5pm today got email from EE confirming order on its way

Frustrating I ordered over the phone and I’ve had nothing from DPD - even on the app, absolutely nothing, I am starting to lose a bit of hope like

If dpd have told you it will be delivered tomorrow then it will. Dpd tracking is the last journey of your order and take that information over anything EE says to you.

Im the same. I ordered online around 1:30 on preorder day and i've got nothing so god only knows when i'll get it.
