Its always disappointing not to get it on the day - however if you have a guaranteed Saturday slot then at least you can rest assured you'll get it ASAP.
Plus if Saturday isn't a working day for you that gives you all day to enjoy your new phone. Which one did you get?

I just got off the phone with EE they’ve said that I probs won’t get a text until tomorrow from DPD but the status of the order is now showing as picked instead of preorder so they’ve said it will be with me tomorrow so I’ve got a bit more hope now

Yeah, it's only a day and bigger things have happened to me on a personal level - nothing can stop me smiling 🙂 Just hoping it comes before 5pm as I have tickets to see Frozen lol

Finally got some updates, the plan has been updated and the tracking order now shows dispatched, but no sms from ee or dpd yet.

So just got the callback.
They've no explanation as to why they cancelled my order and made a new one, but this has resulted in me being put at the back of the queue and on back order. They've offered 10% off my monthly cost over the 24months as well as my £30 upfront fee refuneded. But earliest dispatch for a phone now is 14 days and thats not even for the one I ordered.
Absolute joke. Waiting on another callback from a manager now and demanding I be put back at the front of the queue as this as of no fault of mine. If they can't get this sorted I'm just cancelling. EE Cowboys.

I wouldn't hold your breath sadly on being pushed up the queue. I had this in a previous year and they told me once the inventory starts to flow they can't intervene in the priority order. Hope you get a different result of course.

Has anybody got their email and tracking number yet? I ordered mine about midday on September 9th, but I only ever received one e-mail with an xko order number that doesn't seem to track anything?
