I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

VIP delivery for me is £4.99 which is any time between 12:00 and 18:00 😂

Bit of a joke to be honest,placed order as a out of contract upgrade on the 9th as a like everyone else, I got confirmation of said order by 13:13 via email showing a xko reference, then get another email from EE at around 18:00 saying contact us as we need more information from you to process the order? So I call up and get told the payment didn’t go through which was a lie because it was pending in my account,anyway was asked to pay again which I did as didn’t want to delay the order process, so then had 2 pending transactions for £30 each was then sent a 002 reference confirming the order.

fast forward to today and I’ve had no updates from either EE nor DPD and no change to tracking information, so pretty safe to say I’m not getting mine tomorrow if others who ordered at a later time than I did are getting notifications regarding the order. 😞

There's still a bit of time to go, they could dispatch at any point today and you can get an SMS in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

I got in touch with live chat and he said that the xro number is given when they have got the order and checking it. As he told me that, he said it had just produced a tracking number. I then manually input on dpd and it says parcel collected from sender

Right, off the phone now. Confirmed for Saturday PM (hopefully early PM) and they've given me credit for the hassle. It was always put through as Sept 17, maybe because there was a lack of Space Black 128 PM stock by 1.44pm last Friday or human error. But I have been allocated a device so I am just a day behind which is annoying but not the worst thing in the world. Hopefully tomorrow morning I wake up to all my texts.

Waiting for my callback still to see what their investigation has found, not looking hopeful though. Just another time EE has cocked up. Tempted to just cancel the order now to be honest and just do another year with my 12 Pro Max.

My plan has updated in EE. The order tracker has updated and DPD says delivery tomorrow AM.
